My name is Kiki Sideris and I have a B.A. in journalism from Stony Brook University, where I focused on digital and broadcast storytelling. I'm passionate about storytelling through meaningful and engaging content that informs, entertains and inspires viewers.

This website is the product of my semester-long senior capstone project. I chose this topic after I witnessed Asian Americans in my community struggling with outright racism provoked by the coronavirus pandemic. While many articles about coronavirus racism detailed specific incidents, I wanted to explore why these incidents occur in the first place.

Since social distancing measures unfortunately prevented photography and video shoots, I used this project as an opportunity to combine my amateur art skills with my formal education in journalism. In just two weeks, I taught myself to create simple video animations to tell a story.
